Meet Eclipse
1 Year Old • Rescued Resident
Wolf-Dog Hybrids are bred from domestic dogs and grey wolves. They are highly intelligent and curious, enjoy problem-solving activities and enrichment that challenges their mind.
Grey wolves once had the widest natural range of any land animal, historically found across Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East. Conservation efforts have helped some populations around the world recover but wolves remain a protected.
Despite their importance, wolves have faced persecution, habitat loss and are misunderstood, a legacy that continues to influence how wolf-dog hybrids are perceived today.
By sponsoring Eclipse, you help ensure her continued care, enrichment and long-term welfare, while directly supporting the vital rescue work of our sanctuary.
Eclipse's Story
Eclipse came to us back in 2025, she was found to be living in unsuitable conditions, where her welfare needs were not being adequately met. We stepped in to ensure she could receive the specialist care, space and stability she required. While it was our wish to take her siblings as well, our resources at the time meant we were only able to offer a place to Eclipse. This experience further reinforced out commitment to improving welfare standards and became the catalyst for turning our dream of an animal sanctuary into reality. In honour of her and the impact she had on shaping our mission, the sanctuary is named after Eclipse.
Over the past year, we have focused on providing Eclipse with a stable, welfare-led environment tailored to her individual needs. This has included improving her living conditions, establishing strong bonds with her caregivers and encouraging natural behaviours to help build confidence. Through patience, care and careful observation, Eclipse has become settled and secure in her surroundings. Our work with her will continue to prioritise her wellbeing.
Eclipse is the reason our sanctuary exists. We wanted to be able to provide a safe haven for animals just like her. Animals like Eclipse need specialist, dedicated care. Sponsorship directly supports us with this. By sponsoring Eclipse you are not just supporting one animal - you are helping us turn the rescue into a place where vulnerable animals get the chance to live in safety and are treated with the respect they deserve.
